MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES:


Please read the below membership guidelines / categories below before applying:

Note: We accept training with some organisations such as the American Institute of Vedic Studies and the Florida Vedic Institute as also our Academy of Traditional Ayurveda in addition to learning from traditional Vaidyas in India or from Gurus versed in Ayurveda as 'Traditional Training'.

AYURVEDA ACHARYA:


Option 1: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) + Traditional Training in Ayurveda and Yoga + written Ayurvedic Book or Books and running an Ayurvedic School or Training Program. Be able to read and write fluently in Sanskrit.

Option 2: An Ayurvedic Practitioner with a minimum of 1000 hours of Ayurvedic Training including Clinical Ayurveda and Practical Manufacture of Ayurvedic Medicines (including tailas, gudikas, lehyas, ghritas, kashayas, arishtas / asavas etc.) + written Ayurvedic Book or Books and running an Ayurvedic School or Training Program and having some training in India as well as at least 600 hours of Yoga training and 10 years of practice of Yoga. Be able to read and write fluently in Sanskrit.

If you have 1000 hours of Ayurvedic Study or more but have not started an Ayurvedic school or Published Books, but wish to do so, you may submit a 20,000 word essay / thesis to us on a topic related to Traditional Ayurveda. It must include related sciences as Vedic Astrology (Jyotisha) and Yoga.

AYURVEDIC VAIDYA:

Option 1: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) + Traditional Training in Ayurveda and Yoga including study of Vedic Astrology.

Option 2: An Ayurvedic Practitioner with a minimum of 
1000 hours of Ayurvedic Training including Clinical Ayurveda and completed a minimum of 30 Case Studies not limited to, but including psychological disorders, rheumatic complaints, digestive complaints relative to full Panchakarma procedures and having some training in India plus 600 or more hours of Training in Yoga and / or related Vedic sciences.

Registered Ayurvedic Practitioners (R.A.Ps) of AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners of North America) may apply as Ayurvedic Vaidyas here. Simply give us your Registration numbers when completing your Bio Date further down.

AYURVEDA KOVID:
An Ayurvedic Practitioner with a minimum of 600 hours of Ayurvedic Training including Panchakarma therapy with training in India.


AYURVEDIC PANCHAKARMA THERAPIST
A therapist who has completed a minimum of 100 hours of training in Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapy.


AYURVEDIC MASSAGE THERAPIST
An Ayurvedic massage therapist who has completed a minimum of 100 hours of training in Ayurvedic Massage therapy.

AYURVEDIC MANTRA HEALER:
Be a graduate of the 'Academy of Traditional Ayurveda's' "Mantric Ayurveda" course or 100 Hrs in Mantric Ayurvedic Healing.


AYURVEDIC YOGA TEACHER
An Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher or a Yoga Teacher who has completed 500 hours or ten years of Yoga training or practice and has studied Ayurveda as a part of their training and living an Ayurvedic lifestyle.


VEDIC ASTROLOGER
A Vedic Astrologer with a minimum of ten years practice or study in Vedic Astrology or conducted at least 100 charts, relative to Ayurvedic Prakriti (biological constitutions), Mental Types and Vikaras (diseases) as per Ayurveda.
